I’m Gabbi Sweet, an internationally accredited Bridal Makeup Artist based in Matakana, New Zealand. I’m devoted to crafting luxurious, timeless bridal beauty and creating an experience that feels just as special as the day itself.

Alongside my bridal work, I am also the founder of a boutique Lash & Brow Studio in Matakana Village, a space created for women to feel effortlessly polished, confident, and cared for. My studio offers refined, low-maintenance beauty treatments designed to enhance your natural features, with the same attention to detail and luxury experience I bring to my brides.

Being part of a wedding morning is truly one of the most magical things to me. It’s an honour I never take lightly. Every bride has her own story, her own style, her own version of beauty, and I believe her makeup should reflect exactly that. My focus is always on timeless, elevated glamour: glowing skin, soft definition, and a look that enhances your natural features, so you feel like the most confident and radiant version of yourself.

My journey began 7 years ago in Cape Town, South Africa, one of the world’s most iconic wedding destinations. It shaped my eye for beauty, romance, and luxury, which are elements I now bring into every New Zealand wedding I’m honoured to be part of. Creating an atmosphere of calm, joy, and intention during your getting-ready moments is just as important to me as the makeup itself. Brides often tell me I bring a grounding presence to their morning, something I hold very close to my heart.

Outside the world of beauty, I’m a mom to a beautiful little boy and endlessly inspired by my incredible husband, who is the most supportive human I know. Our little family, along with our two pups, is my deepest source of gratitude and light.
